Vegetable Jalfrezi

For Day 2, Week 2 of BM #41, Here is a simple Vegetable Jalfrezi for 'V' made using a ready made sauce. This sauce is available in grocery stores in our neighborhood (Patak's Hot and Spicy Jalfrezi Simmer sauce).

I rely on this when I have to make for a huge party and am short of time and help. It turns out awesome and is easy to manage on short notice!

Ingredients -

Carrots, Bell Peppers (all colors), Baby Corn, Water Chestnuts, Beans, Onion (Optional - I didn't use)) uniformly chopped or sliced, approximately 400 gms
Paneer cubed 1 cup
Salt to taste

Patak's Jalfrezi Sauce 12 oz bottle
Oil 2 Tbsp

Vegetable Jalfrezi

Method Of Preparation -

In a heated wok/kadai, add oil and stir fry all the vegetables until they are cooked but retain their crispness.

In a separate pan, saute the paneer until golden brown.

Transfer the fried paneer into the stir fried vegetables.

Empty the Jalfrezi sauce into the stir fried vegetables and let the sauce boil and the vegetables absorb the flavors.

Check the taste and sprinkle salt as needed.
